Federica Tucci

The Managing Director, worked for 10 years as a licensed tour leader for groups and individuals from the cruise ships docking at the port of Livorno. She has a degree in languages from the University of Pisa, awarded in November 1999. In 2000, together with Lavinia Bernardini, Federica set up an agency (Caleidoscopio) to provide tour guides, escorts, translators and interpreters to various clients, including tour operators working in the cruise industry. She then went on to Laviosa Tours where she worked for three and a half years as Technical and Operations Manager. In 2004 she gained the qualification of Technical Manager for Travel Agencies. She decided to start her own business with TFL Tours in 2006.

Lavinia Bernardini

The Operations Manager, has a degree in languages from the University of Pisa, awarded in July 1999, and is a licensed tour leader. She is also a licensed guide for Pisa and its province and for Livorno and its province, which of course has helped her to understand the specific requirements of different kinds of visitors. In 2000, together with Federica Tucci, Lavinia set up an agency to provide tour guides, escorts, translators and interpreters to various clients, including tour operators working in the cruise industry. She then moved to Laviosa Tours where she worked for three and a half years with Federica in the creation and production of tours and shore excursions.

Sarah Thompson

Started out in the tourist industry at an early age, working for travel agencies and tour operators in England and in Greece. She has a diploma in Travel and Tourism, and a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Westminster, London, awarded in 1989. She has translated a variety of texts and publications from Italian to English including a number of tour guides, and for the past three years she has been working as a licensed tour leader on shore excursions from cruise ships in Livorno She now runs a website about Livorno and collaborates with TFL Tours, dealing mainly with putting together packages for American clients.

Stefania Francolini

Stefania has enthusiastically started her collaboration with TFL Tours sharing with them full reliability, strong dedication and a profound love of Italy in general and Tuscany in particular. She has been working as a licensed tour leader with cruises for four years and she is a licensed tour guide for Lucca and its province. Underlying her professionalism is her joy in helping foreign tourists to make their dream to visit Italy come true. She has studied English and French both in Italy and in London and Paris. She loves sharing her knowledge and, in the best Tuscan tradition, giving her honest advice to clients. In addition to her qualifications, based on experience, she adds the ability of creating a warm yet respectful rapport with people having attended human potential and counseling schools for many years.
